Kudos on taking the first step towards working on yourself. Let's move ahead on your journey towards understanding yourself better and finding yourself in a better mental space!

Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello! I am Mayuri Godbole and I am a psychologist. I have always been curious about how one’s thoughts and emotions affect their attitude and reflect in their behavior. This curiosity led me to take up BA Hons Psychology at MIT World Peace University which started my journey in psychology. After having a brief understanding of how people’s lived experiences and their everyday conversations shape their personalities, I realized the vast scope of this subject. Several myths were busted, several opinions were changed. The journey of my Bachelor’s led me to believe that growth is all about learning, unlearning and, relearning. I vowed to follow this principle in my journey ahead. Seeing how one’s mental health has the power to render them functional/ dysfunctional in various areas of life, I developed a keen interest in Clinical psychology, leading me to pursue an MSc in Clinical Psychology at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. My time at Christ was truly an eye-opener. It helped me understand how a human being is a combination of both physical and mental health. You cannot separate the two and just work on one of them. I believe that both of these aspects always go hand in hand and form the entire human. All my experiences, thoughts, and emotions till now have made me who I am today and I would like to acknowledge and accept each and every one of them. Let’s embark on a journey towards better mental health and knowing you!
